Spiced Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest

  • pinch of salt

  • 12 oz whole cranberries

  • 5 tablespoons orange juice

  • 2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger

Method:

In a pot, mix water, sugar, orange zest, cinnamon, ginger and salt. Bring to a boil.

Add cranberries and reduce to a simmer about 20 minutes. When about half of the cranberries have opened, remove from heat and add the orange juice.

Let cool before serving
